Summary:
Jira issue macro icons does not render on Confluence Cloud when connected to Jira Server/DC via application tunnels.
Steps to Reproduce
- Setup Confluence cloud site
- Setup JIRA server or DC
- Set up Application tunnel band Link between Confluence cloud and Jira server / DC.
- Update the Display URL to http://<DC site>:8091/jira/ in the Confluence Application Link configuration.
- Create a JIRA Issue macro in Confluence cloud page
- Add Jira issue macro and display columns such as "Issue type" and "Priority"
Expected Behaviour
JIRA issue macro icons should be rendered similarly to how they load in the Jira project
Actual Behaviour
JIRA issue macro icon doesn't render and appears broken on Confluence cloud pages.
Note:
The icon might not be rendered if the display URL is updated with a Jira URL link that contains SSL (https) or proxy integration (redirection).
Currently we see the below error in browser's network logs for these requests:
Workaround:
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior.
