University libraries : Missing alt attribute for decorative image

Issue Summary

On the “University libraries” page, the decorative image of flowers on the main page is missing an empty alt attribute.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to the “University libraries” homepage.
2. Navigate to the mentioned decorative image in the main content area.
3. Inspect the code of the mentioned decorative image.
4. Notice that an empty "alt" attribute is not provided for the decorative image.

Expected Results

Decorative image should be hidden from screen readers.Provide an empty "alt" attribute i.e., (alt="") for decorative image.

Actual Results

The "alt" attribute is not provided in the source code for the decorative image of flowers on the main page present in the navigation area.

As a result, screen reader users were able to access the decorative image and it was communicated as unlabelled.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
