Notifications are sent ad-nausium, rather than queued. User cannot specify a sane notification scheme on large installations.

User should be able to say, send me an email from Confluence

• immediately
• once a day
• once a week
• once a month

All standard notifications from confluence would be queues and assembled into an email, similar to the 'space watch' summary.

In addtion, the user should be able to configure this differently for different content, whereever you set the watch. If you set a page to notify you immediately, that will override your space option to notify you daily, which in turn overrides your site option that you generally want to be notified of changes weekly.

This needs to be configurable at the point the users selects to be notified.

A users persnoal notification 'scheme' needs to be accessible from each email they recieve from confluence.
