Domain-Restricted Public Links

Details

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

    Description

      Summary

Whenever Public Links are enabled, pages will be visible to anyone with the link, meaning that anyone can access the information even without authenticating with their Atlassian Account.

In certain scenarios, although the information would be useful for users outside of Confluence, it can be considered sensitive to be shared outside of a domain and the closest workaround would be to apply IP allowlist.

      Suggestion

Since IPs can be limited and not always capture all users from a domain, this is a suggestion to have domain-restricted Public Links, allowing only users from a certain domain to see the externally shared content.
