    Description

      Problem

At present, when a Space PDF Export fails, the error message displayed is too broad and often reads:

There was an error in the export.
      Please check your log files.

This is problematic as it can be misleading for our users.

      • First, our customers don't have direct access to the log files.
      • Second, the error message lacks specificity, which can lead to confusion and difficulty in troubleshooting.

      Suggested Solution

We propose that the error message be reworked to facilitate users in their quest to resolve the issue. The adjusted message should include guidance for users to search for existing bugs or product limitations. If no solution is found, the message should prompt them to contact Atlassian Cloud Support.

      Why This Is Important

This modification is necessary to prevent misunderstanding among our customers.

The current message might give the impression that users have access to log files, which isn't the case. By providing a more accurate and informative error message, we can guide our users toward a solution more effectively.

      Workaround

Until this feature request is implemented, the only recourse for users experiencing this error is to reach out to Atlassian Cloud Support for assistance.
