    Description

      While Confluence and Jira are designed to work together, unfortunately, as of now, the functionality to directly transmit variables from a Confluence template to Jira fields or custom fields through automation is not available. The integration between Confluence and Jira currently doesn't support this level of customization in automation.

      This is a suggestion ticket raised to have the ability to use Confluence template variables to pass on the Jira issues while using Automation for Confluence.

      • Having the template variables stored will also help automate things in better within Confluence.
