Issue Summary

Users are experiencing difficulty when trying to add an inline comment to the Wiki Markup Macro after migrating from Confluence Server/Data Center to Confluence Cloud.

Specifically, an error message stating "We're having trouble adding your comment. Try highlighting more or less text." is displayed upon hitting the save button in the comment.

Steps to Reproduce

Step 1: Navigate to Wiki Markup Macro.

Step 2: Attempt to add an inline comment.

Step 3: Press the save button in the comment.

Expected Results

Users should be able to successfully add inline comments to the Wiki Markup Macro without encountering any error messages.

Actual Results

Users are unable to add inline comments to the Wiki Markup Macro and are presented with the error message "We're having trouble adding your comment. Try highlighting more or less text."

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
