Issue Summary
This suggestion proposes an enhancement for the integration between Confluence and Jira. Specifically, it requests an automated feature where a Confluence page link is generated on a Jira item when the Jira item is created from Confluence. This would provide a reciprocal link, improving navigation and traceability between the two platforms. Currently, users need to manually add the Confluence link to the Jira item which can be time-consuming and inefficient.
Steps to Reproduce
- On a Confluence page, in edit mode, when typing /creating Jira, the Jira card is created. While the Jira link/card is embedded on the Confluence page, there is no Confluence link on the Jira item within Jira.
If we are going to create Jira items on Confluence requirements pages, we will need that page link on the Jira item. While we can do it manually, I would think creating it from Confluence would generate that link on the Jira item.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
