Problem
Users can't access any previously downloaded links for exported Confluence spaces, such as XML, HTML, or PDF, once their current session ends or the page is closed.
Suggested Solution
Add a feature that keeps a record of all types of exported files, not just XML, and allows access to these files even if the page is closed. This should include a system for storing and retrieving previously exported files for a specified time period.
Why This Is Important
This enhancement will not only improve user efficiency by eliminating the need to re-export files but also provide a backup for data protection. It ensures wider accessibility and persistence of tasks, enhancing the overall user experience.
Workaround
At present, users should save the download URL (e.g. https://<INSTANCE-URL>.atlassian.net/wiki/download/temp/filestore/<FILE-STORE-ID>) or initiate a new export process for each download or securely store the file after the initial export, regardless of the file type.
Note
Contact Atlassian Cloud Support to obtain the Download Link from the logs.
