    Description

      Problem

Currently, the system does not allow users to manage "User Created Templates" within an archived space. Users are unable to view, edit, or delete these templates, and any attempts to perform these actions result in error messages or indications that the action can't be completed.

      Suggested Solution

To improve user experience, it would be beneficial to develop a feature allowing users to manage their "User Created Templates" within an archived space. This should include the ability to view, edit, and delete templates, similar to the existing functionality for "Blueprint templates".

Furthermore, error messages should be made more informative, clearly indicating the limitations of template handling within archived spaces.

      Why This Is Important

This feature is important as it enhances user flexibility and the overall usability of the system. Users would have the ability to manage their templates effectively even in an archived space, providing a consistent and smooth experience across both active and archived spaces.

      Workaround

Currently, the only workaround available is to Restore the space, so it can be managed properly.

      Note

The same scenario is applicable to the Get content templates Rest API.
