Whenever a new user is added to Confluence, whenever I'm given access to a new Confluence space, we are all added to an obnoxiously large number of email lists without any type of opt-in or consent. Worse yet, when we go to unsubscribe, Atlassian does not provide an unsubscribe from all but instead chooses to force people to uncheck around a dozen checkboxes one at a time.

All of this is unacceptable! How can we set things up either at a personal account level or an org level to get people's permission BEFORE subscribing them to anything. We pay a LOT of money to use these services so as the people who pay, we should have complete and total control and ownership of all our services.
