Description
Issue Summary
Adding a custom field in a Jira issue macro (multi-line custom field), which was configured to make it possible to add images, from within the project (Project settings > Fields > Actions > Edit fields, enabling the Renderers options) and uploading an image in the Jira issue looks okay, but in Confluence, on the Jira issue macro table display, it looks really huge.
It doesn't seem like we have any controls to make it smaller in Confluence like it is possible to resize it on Jira.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a custom field (multi-line) in Jira. E.g: Paragraph
- Add the custom field to the project's screen
- At Project settings> Issues > Fields > Actions > Edit fields find the custom field name
- Enable the Renderer and Confirm to use the Wiki Style Renderer
- Once saved, go back to the Jira issue in Jira
- Click on the Custom Field created in the Project specified, you should see the option to add attachments
- Upload the attachment and Save
- In a Confluence page on edit mode, add a Jira issue macro
- Enter the Jira issue key
- Choose the option to display it as a table
- Make sure to add the custom field in Columns to Display
- Publish page
Expected Results
Image from the custom field renders like it does in Jira
Actual Results
The image seems to default to the original size or just huge, covering most of the page and there is no option to resize it from Confluence.
Resizing in the Jira issue custom's field does not change the size in Confluence.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
