Currently, the UI is quite time consuming and requires lots of clicks (which deters many space admins). When you have a lot of individuals users its kind of confusing seeing the ticks and crosses.

The objective is to avoid too many clicks to set the permissions. For example we can have a role such as contributor or viewer and then assign permissions to those roles, so that instead of seeing a lot of the ticks and crosses for individual users, or groups - one can only see the role. Space admins should have the flexibility of setting the permissions to the roles which users or groups will be assigned to. This will also result in less clicks. It should also be possible to easily search for a specific user on the page to view the permissions they have
