      The Ask

Please allow for Figma embeds to take on the size of the frame in Figma or allow customized width/height.

      Why

Most images or frames in Figma are not square, however, that's the only way Confluence can display frames.

The results are almost unusable because Confluence inserts a huge, square iFrame.

I want to show frames in their true size.

However, the iFrame used is massive and takes up half the viewport on the page in Confluence. I have used the horizontal resizing capability, however, the results are still sub-optimal.

      Example

If I have small image of 3 Avatars in Figma and my frame in Figma is just the size of the Avatars, the iFrame zooms in on these items unrealistically. Each Avatar appears shows up very zoomed in and not actual size.

If I take the same frame and widen it to 1000 px, the Avatars show up much closer to real size, however, the embed frame has huge amounts of unused space above and below.

One of the main reasons for using an embed from Figma is to display an up to date image of something. These images, as embed works right now, are unrealistic and clumsy, and certainly don't show the frame in actual size. This makes the use of screenshots preferable for realistic sizing, however, screenshots quickly become obsolete.
