      Issue Summary

Using the new import functionality, when importing a Word document that includes an embedded attachment (for example, Excel or Powerpoint) you encounter two errors:

      1. Some images couldn't be imported
      2. The page has been deleted by another user.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a Word document that includes an embedded attachment, for example, XLS or PPT
      2. Try to import that document to Confluence.

      Expected Results

Confluence should create a page based on that Word document, including the embedded attachment.

      Actual Results

It results in the following errors:

      Some images couldn't be imported

We ran into an issue importing one or more of the images in your document. We've created placeholders for them in your new page.

Followed by: "We couldn't find what you're looking for"

      We can't show this page

The page has been deleted by another user.

At that point, you are taken to an error screen, and the only way to the new page is by going to the list of drafts. The user experience could be better here, for example, take the user to the page that was created while giving them a message that some parts of the document weren't compatible.

      Workaround

Remove the embedded attachment from the Word document and try again.
