    Description

      Issue Summary

Confluence Pages and Comments will lose editing abilities when the page contains an iFrame that points to Jira data if the user viewing the page is restricted from the Jira content.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create Jira Project and restrict it
      2. Create Jira Dashboard
      3. Create Confluence Page
      4. Please iframe macro on Confluence Page and configure it to point to Restricted Dashboard/Project
      5. Have user restricted to Jira content to load Confluence page

      Expected Results

Confluence users should still be able to enter text into comment editor or page editor.

      Actual Results

Text can not be entered into the page editor or the comment editor.

      Workaround

Currently, the only 2 workarounds are:

      • Grant the user the ability to view the Jira content

      OR

      • Remove the iFrame pulling the Jira data into another Confluence page
