Issue Summary

The excerpt include macro shows a blue line when the excerpt is hidden and does not show the excerpt when the page is in edit mode.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a confluence page and add an excerpt macro on the page with no content.
2. Make the excerpt macro hidden and publish the page.
3. Create another page and add an excerpt including macro
4. Include the excerpt created previously.
5. Publish the page

Expected Results

The hidden excerpt should be visible in edit mode. Instead, it shows a gray line.

Actual Results

In Publish mode the excerpt include shows a blue line and in edit mode it shows a slight grey line when hover over the place of excerpt include.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
