Issue Summary
When moving pages, you are able to choose a destination and include children's pages, and move as many pages as you would like from the source space to the destination one.
In the exception of some cases, there could be something preventing you from moving the pages (restrictions, permissions, content issues, etc.), the page move should be successful, however, what we experience at this moment is that if you try to move anything over a few hundred pages, you start having performance issues on the move operation itself, that can lead customers to think the move didn't happen.
The error message also doesn't specify what happened.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a space with a large number of pages (500 to 1.000 pages)
- Create a second space to be the destination space
- Move the pages from the source space to the destination space and include all pages
Expected Results
The Pages are moved without any issues and you can see the pages in the destination space already
Actual Results
- Pages are not visible in the destination space and there is a delay in getting them displayed in the page tree.
- The pages are not moved and display an error: We couldn't move this many pages at once.
Workaround
Move a small group number of pages at a time or wait a few minutes (depending on the number of pages moved, it may take more time) for the delay to pass and finish the move operation to display the pages in the space.
