Umlaut Characters such as Ü ü Ö ö Ä ä render incorrectly in the Confluence Site Title

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to Confluence Settings
2. Edit the Site Title and include any of the following characters: Ü ü Ö ö Ä ä
3. Save

Expected Results

Characters should render correctly after saving the changes.

Actual Results

The following is displayed instead:

"Site Title: Confluence �� �� �� �� �� ��"

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
