Issue Summary

Duplication problem on Confluence pages where text and images added to the page are duplicated in edit mode.
The duplicate content remains even if the page is closed without being published.
If the page is published, the duplicated text and images must be manually removed.

The issue is specific to pages that have been migrated and are using the legacy editor.
Note: The problem may not happen on every page.
This behaviour occurs intermittently without any special actions by the user.

      Steps to Reproduce

This behaviour is not consistently reproducible, but may occur when a page is edited.

      Expected Results

The editor should display only the page content.

      Actual Results

The content appears to be duplicated in edit mode, and publishing the page results in the duplicated content being visible in view mode.

      Workaround

      1. In the Editor, click the Ellipsis (...) symbol
      2. Click Revert to last published version

[CONFCLOUD-75450] Duplicate content shown when editing a page

I just faced this problem today after updating one of the pages. It's probably worth mentioning we're freshly after migration to Cloud version. The migration happened over the weekend and the problem happened on one of the migrated pages after editing it today.

I am struggling to find how and where to report this, but this issue is still happening unfortunatly.

For example, my original text "[POC] Wearable" became "[POC][POC] WWearrablbles:s:" after concurrent edits.

I would be happy to provide more info if needed.
