Issue Summary
Templates created on the Confluence cloud can have attachments in them. While they work brilliantly when used to create pages manually, we have noted a small issue when the pages are being created using Jira automation.
Any automation rule that uses a Confluence page template having an attachment to create a page will show the attachment as 'Failed to load'
Steps to Reproduce
On Confluence
- Go to any space- > Space Settings - > Templates
- Click on Create a template
- Add a suitable name and add some attachments.
- Save the template.
On Jira cloud
- Go to a select project
- Go to the project settings-> Automations
- Create a new rule
- Add a condition( like When an issue is created)
- The action for it to be is to create a new page
- The page will use the template you created above.
- Name it, save it and activate it.
- Do an activity that will trigger the automation.
If the logs say success, go to the space on Confluence to check the page.
Expected Results
The attachments should have been available
Actual Results
They failed to load ![]()
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behaviour. A workaround will be added here when available
