When I have an inline comment active and click on another one, the new content temporarily shows with the avatar of the previous comment. This state can last for long enough that it gives the impression of the wrong author, which is sometimes confusing.

There's no workaround necessary here: the issue resolves itself within a second. But that short-term impression is jarring if it would be, for example, a highly out-of-character comment from someone.

I would prefer that the avatar was blank, rather than inconsistent, even temporarily.
