    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

We really need the ability to change keyboard shortcuts. Our teams initial reason for using Confluence was the incredible efficiency of it. We were initially on a self-managed server and were eventually forced, by Atlassian, to move to Cloud.

      Consider the following example:

To create a bulleted list, the original shortcut was "Ctrl+B"

In Cloud, the shortcut is "Ctrl+Shift+8"

This new shortcut is extremely obnoxious. It takes too many keys and both hands. Whats worse, the new shortcut for a header went from "Ctrl+1" to "Ctrl+Alt+1".

Under the new system, it takes some serious finger gymnastics for any kind of quick changes. The easy solution is to just let your customers set keyboard shortcuts as they desire.

Issues like this keep being re-opened, such as below, but Atlassian keeps just marking them as Won't Fix. This change would not be hard, and it is Atlassian who chose to force all customers to Cloud (aside from the expensive Data Center solution). Please support us!
