Issue Summary
When clicking on a Confluence link that takes you to an in-line comment (e.g ?focusedCommentId=<Comment ID>) the highlighted text and the inline comment do not align up correctly.
This happens when the inline comment is made below several elements that may take longer time to load, such as the following. The more items exist, the bigger the misalignment.
- Diagrams (added via third party apps)
- Images
- Excerpt include macros containing images
- Jira issue filters
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a page
- Add content, but most importantly include macros such as "Excerpt include", or any other macro that includes images, diagrams, or anything that may take some time to load
- Make an inline comment on a piece of text placed below the macros
- Copy the inline comment link
- Open the page using the inline comment link
Expected Results
Inline comment is loaded and pop-up remains aligned with text
Actual Results
Inline comment loads as expected initially, however, as soon as the other elements are rendered, the inline comment pop-up is moved up and becomes misaligned with the highlighted text
Workaround
There are no existing workarounds at the moment.
