Resolving or adding a comment to an "Inline comment" scrolls the page to the top.
Issue is reproducible when selecting the "Show inline comment" option from the top of the page.
Issue is not reproducible when select an inline comment from the page without first clicking on the "Show inline comment
Steps to Reproduce
Create a new page in Confluence, with multiple inline comments.
Refresh the page.
Once the page reloads, click on the "Show inline comments" icon near the top right of the page.
This will open up the inline comments.
From the Inline comments navigation, click the "^" arrow to go down to the last inline comment.
Either resolve this inline comment, or add a comment to it.
The page will scroll all the way to to the first comment automatically.
If in Step #3 above, we do not click on the "Show inline comments" option, but instead start by clicking the first inline comment on the page;
Proceeding with Step #5 will not cause Step #6 from happening.
If we've already clicked on the "Show inline comments" icon, the issue will persist until we refresh the page.
And instead, it will either show that the Inline comment was resolved, and give us an option to Undo the resolve.
Or if we add a comment, it will show us the comment we've just added.
Expected Results
Even if we click on the "Show inline comments" icon, when resolving an inline comment or adding another comment to it, it should not scroll the page to the top.
Actual Results
If we click on the "Show inline comments" icon, resolving an inline comment or adding another comment to it, causes the page to scroll up, selecting the first inline comment.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
While there is no workaround if we click the "Show inline comments" icon, we can refresh the page, and select any inline comment from the page directly, and not hit into this issue.
