Allow Bullet/Number Lists to contain a sublevel of tasks

The majority of my confluence use is internal documentation that focuses on processes, with steps that need to be completed is a specific order.

I am lacking the ability to create a numbered list that describes the steps of the process, each with a sublevel that contains a list of tasks (rather than bullets) without breaking the sequence of the numbered list. For example:

      1. First, find the item you wish to edit in the list.
      2. Then, click the "edit" icon to open the settings
      3. Update the toggle to yes/no, as needed.
      4. Repeat this process for the following items
        1. [] This is where I want to insert a list of tasks
        2. [] I want to keep it nested within a numbered list
        3. [] I do not want/need the task list to be numbered
        4. [] Instead, the tasks would replace the numbered/bullet level
      5. Once you have completed the above, return to the main menu.
        1. The nested task list above, would not interrupt the list numbering sequence
        2. And I could choose for the next sublevel to remain as numbers or bullets
