The majority of my confluence use is internal documentation that focuses on processes, with steps that need to be completed is a specific order.
I am lacking the ability to create a numbered list that describes the steps of the process, each with a sublevel that contains a list of tasks (rather than bullets) without breaking the sequence of the numbered list. For example:
- First, find the item you wish to edit in the list.
- Then, click the "edit" icon to open the settings
- Update the toggle to yes/no, as needed.
- Repeat this process for the following items
- [] This is where I want to insert a list of tasks
- [] I want to keep it nested within a numbered list
- [] I do not want/need the task list to be numbered
- [] Instead, the tasks would replace the numbered/bullet level
- Once you have completed the above, return to the main menu.
-
- The nested task list above, would not interrupt the list numbering sequence
- And I could choose for the next sublevel to remain as numbers or bullets
