As of now, we have not scheduled development work on this feature through the end of fiscal year 2024 (June). We will revisit this issue in the next 6 months.

      Issue Summary

      Unable to search by email when adding "@" mention in Confluence Cloud.  The only option is to search by Full Name.

      See the screenshot below when trying to search for a user to add in Space permissions.

      Suggested Solution

      Please add a feature that will allow performing user searching in Confluence via email. Some users will have the same Full name or display Name (ie, different people or even the same person but a different address) and the only segregation will be via email.
