Issue Summary
In Confluence, there are different options to create pages such as:
- Use the Create button from the top navigation bar.
- Tapping the plus icon on the right side of a page via the sidebar.
When a page is created with any of these methods, it will not be displayed in the page tree.
Steps to Reproduce
- Access a page that you want to be the parent page of the newly created one.
- There, create a page with any of the options above (to allow it to be a child page of that) and select templates like the Meeting Notes, File Lists, Troubleshooting article, or How-to.
- Publish the page.
Expected Results
The page should be displayed in the sidebar.
Actual Results
The page is not displayed in the sidebar. Instead, only the home page is displayed and even after expanding the sidebar to show all pages, the newly created page is not displayed.
Workaround
There are two workarounds for this behavior:
- Use the Re-order pages option from the space's administration (Space settings > Reorder) to move the page in question or any other page, which will allow the page(s) to be displayed.
