Details

    Description

      Issue Summary

      Whenever we convert a page from the Legacy Editor to the current one, in case this page has anchor links, the links will break.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a new page using the Legacy Editor template, in case your site has it;
      2. Generate some Lorem Ipsum text in your page;
      3. At the bottom of the page, add an Anchor macro named Anchor1;
      4. Go to the top of the page, highlight a piece of text and hit CTRL + K/Command + K to insert a link;
      5. Go to the Advanced option;
      6. In the Link field, insert #Anchor1 (which is the name of the anchor we added);
      7. Upon publishing the page, click over the Anchor link - notice you are redirected to the bottom of the page;
      8. Edit the page;
      9. Convert it to the current editor;
      10. Upon publishing the page, click over the anchor link.

      Expected Results

      You land to the bottom of the page, as the anchor is there.

      Actual Results

      Nothing happens.

      Notes:

      • The issue occurs because after we convert the page, the anchor links get changed to #PageTitle-AnchorName.

      Workaround

      There is nothing we can do to avoid this behavior, so upon you convert your page, make sure to manually fix the anchor links to the concerned anchors.
