The Slack integration with Confluence Cloud is neat, but a but noisy when making semantic changes to pages which have no real meaning to a pages content.

That's where a setting for only daily summaries per space would be very helpful, combining meaning full and semantic changes into one entry.

Alternative would be to have the old option back: do not update watchers

This would help reduce noise on slack channels for semantic changes.
