    Description

I like to centralize confluence content from different pages in one page (e.g., efforts I have going on), using the Excerpt Include and Page Properties Report macros.

I had the idea of including Create From Template buttons in either the Page Excerpts or the Page Properties macros, so that I could create content relating to the various pages I am aggregating.

The problem is, that the newly created pages are created as children of the aggregating page, where the Page Excerpts/Page Properties Reports are showing up, rather as the children on the pages that contain the Create From Template macros.

If the Create From Template macro had a parameter for the parent page of the page that will be created by the macro (like the parameter for the space where the new page will be created), the problem would be addressed, making it easy to have a "Follow-up dashboard" relating to different pages.
