      Description

Upon uploading an image to Confluence (with a JPG or PNG format), its color is darker than the original, causing challenges to scenarios where the image is already dark.

      How to replicate

      1. Download an image. For example, an image from Google.
      2. Edit or create a new Confluence page in order to upload it directly to its body.
      3. Upload the image and publish the page.
      4. Publish the page or look at the image via the Attachments option of the page.

      Expected Results

The image should have the same color.

      Actual results

      The image is darker.

      Workaround

Use a different format for the image. For example, BMP.
