Issue Summary
When adding the Jira issues macro or simply pasting the link of a Jira issue within certain third-party apps the following messages are displayed instead of Jira's content:
At this moment, we have already identified this behavior happening within the following third-party apps:
- UI Expand for Cloud
- UI Tab for Cloud
- MultiExcerpt Cloud
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Confluence page.
- There, add a third-party macro like UI Expand, UI Tabs, or MultiExcerpt Include to retrieve content from the MultiExcerpt macro that allows content to be added within its body.
- Make sure to have access to Jira and paste the link of the issue within the body of the macro in question or insert the Jira issue macro to display multiple Jira issues.
- Publish the page.
- The issue happens both in the Legacy Editor as well as in the New Editor.
Expected Results
The macro should have its content displayed.
Actual Results
The Jira macro keeps spinning and has the following message:
Getting issue details...
For the MultiExcerpt macro, the following message is displayed after a few minutes:
Data cannot be retrieved due to an unexpected error. {"error":"Jira issues is not available"}
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
