      Issue Summary

When a new user is added to Confluence, users cannot use Confluence for a few hours or sometimes a few days even though they had correct groups assigned to them.

The UI observed the following error: "You're almost there", "This page isn't working redirected too many times. Try clearing your cookies. ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS".

The same error is observed in Incognito mode.

At times, the user will be able to access using the direct URL of Confluence, however, switching from Jira to Confluence, would show up the above error.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Try inviting a new user to the site assigning the correct user groups.
      2. The user receives a redirect error while accessing Confluence:

      Expected Results

      • New users should be able to log in to Confluence without any errors.

      Actual Results

      • New users receive a redirect error in the UI.

      Workaround

Ask user to use the following URL for your Confluence: <your cloud instance>/wiki/home or any specific page in Confluence (you can share it with them).
