Copying and pasting web images on a page (not attaching) makes links and text unclickable/unselectable

Issue Summary

While it is possible to copy an image from an external site and pasting it on a Confluence page, instead of attaching the file on the page, it displays the images, but on the background it makes a reference for the link from the original source.

It all works, but recently, there is a "invisible" media card added to the page above and below of the web image added to the page which leads to the issue, where if there is any links, they are no longer clickable, giving the impression there is something wrong or not working, as well text are no longer selectable.

Some other links or text in the page may work, if it is outside of the "size of the invisible" media card added along with the web image.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Search for an image and open it directly from the original external source
2. Select the image and/or some text along with the web image and paste directly on a Confluence page without attaching it
3. Add some links and text to the page, above and below
4. Publish the page

Expected Results

Everything is working as expected, no issues are seen with the web image added to the page or the elements there.

Actual Results

When checking the storage format of the page, there is nothing wrong, but if we check the elements, when hovering through the page, we are able to see a <div class="media-card-viewport-anchor" right where we are having the issues not being able to click on the links and a "transparent" square in front of the page's content.

Workaround

Remove the web image and add it again to the page, but as an attachment instead.
