Description
Summary
When migrating spaces from Confluence Server to the Cloud the Children Display macro will lose the ordering applied on the server.
This happens due to a functional difference between the Server and the Cloud.
When no sorting is specified, the macro on the server defaults to "title" as the sorting order.
When no sorting is specific, the macro on the cloud uses the same order of pages as the left navigation bar.
Steps to Reproduce
- Insert a Children Display macro on a page and specify ordering criteria such as alphabetical or leave it as default that should be alphabetical
- Migrate the space to the cloud
Expected Results
In the migrated space on the cloud site, the macro properly displays the children's pages in alphabetical order
Actual Results
The macro displays the children's pages in a random order
Workaround
- Edit the page and change the sorting of the macro on the affected page in Confluence Cloud.
