Confluence should have separate app group to manage permissions.

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      Currently, apps get added to the default user group, that may or may not be confluence-users group and thats how apps get permissions through this group.

      • If the default user group doesn't have space permissions, then the app wouldn't have permission to the space as well.
      • From the UI, we couldnt actually add/remove apps from any groups. Apps simply dont show up in the group add members search.

      Hence, suggestion would be to add a separate group for apps so permissions can be managed.
