Allow Confluence to search for macros within pages

XMLWordPrintable

      Summary

The Confluence Cloud advanced search can be very useful to find content across our sites. In its filters, it is possible to sort our search by pages, attachments, spaces, creators, etc.
Though, the search only works for verbally expressed words in the pages, which may be a roadblock for more basic users.

      Suggestion

      • Allow the Confluence Cloud advanced search to be able to search for HTML elements in the pages to retrieve results as well, such as a macro that may be a button named "Click Me", so the users would be able to search by "Click Me" and Confluence would be able to retrieve the pages that contain that button.
