Issue Summary

Microsoft Edge, the New copy-paste feature intermittently fails to paste web Link as Hyperlinks.
the Links gets pasted as URL Example: https://www.atlassian.com/

Steps to Reproduce

1. copy a link 
2. Paste the copied link using CRT+V 
3. the web link sometimes gets pasted as a URL

Expected Results

The pasted links should always show up as hyperlink/smartlinks

Actual Results

The pasted web links appear as a URL Example: https://www.atlassian.com/

Workaround

Set the Edge default copy-paste behaviour to Link 

1. In Microsoft Edge, select More , and then select Settings .

1. Under Settings, select Share, Copy & Paste.

1. Under Share, Copy & Paste, select the default option you want: Link, to paste the URL as a hyperlinked title, or Plain text, to paste the URL as a web address.
