Description
Issue Summary
- Currently, when linking a Confluence Space to Service Desk the setting "Any active user can view this space" is enabled automatically in the Confluence space. That means, that any active users, regardless of not being Service Desk customers will be able to view the space, regardless of the space permissions.
if we look in to the 'Jira Service Management' -projects Settings -> Knowledge base -> Viewing permissions -dropdown -> Restricted it says "All logged in '<JSM project name here>' users can view the articles in this space, without Confluence license", but that is not followed
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a space and link it to a JSM project from project settings - Knowledge base - link space
- Set permissions to : Restricted that says "All logged in '<JSM project name here>'
users can view the articles in this space, without Confluence license" - Invite a new user and grant only site access, no product access
Expected Results
- User should not be able to view the space content because the user doesn't have space permission and also not a part of JSM project.
Actual Results
Any active user in the instance can access the space when linked with JSM project even if the permission is set to restricted under knowledge base.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
