Summary

Currently, if we type 1 + . (dot), then space, Confluence will read it as a numbered list and will format it accordingly.

Suggestion

• Add an option at the Confluence user profile level that allows individual users to disable the auto-formatting for numbered lists.

Workaround

1. Hit 1 ;
2. Then space;
3. Then dot;
4. Then space again;
5. Place the mouse cursor after the first space and delete it;
6. Place the mouse cursor back to after the second space.
