Resolution: Won't Fix
Currently user of Confluence Cloud is able to insert link with such three options:
Display URL, Display as link, Display as card.
But when you have tons of articles, that is not enough to help User effectively surf over written Business requirements. In some cases it is needed to show the place linked article is located at.
So it would be really great to have two more options.
As an example (let's say it is a confluence article) which I want refer to: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-links-and-anchors/
And it would be great to get the following path to this "Insert-links-and-anchors" article in newly created article:
- Display as path (aka breadcrumb, Atlassian Support/[Confluence|https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud]/[Resources/|https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/resources/] Create and organize work in Confluence/[Create and edit content|https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-and-edit-content/]/)
- Display as full path (aka
- Atlassian Support/[Confluence|https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud]/[Resources/|https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/resources/] Create and organize work in Confluence/[Create and edit content|https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-and-edit-content/]/[Insert links|https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-links-and-anchors/]
I believe it might be really useful for many many Cloud Confluence users. As in Cloud Confluence users do not have User Macro functionality to mitigate such limited functionality of "Insert link"
Thank you in advance!
Sincerely,
Mykhailo
