Resolution: Won't Fix
Summary
In Confluence, when the user creates a space that is tied to a key that already exists, a message stating that the key already exists will be displayed.
However, if the space key that already exists is tied to a restricted space, no error messages will appear when tapping the "Create" button. The button will not perform any actions.
In the browser's console, the following message is displayed:
"errorMessage":"You are not permitted to perform this operation."
Feature request
This is a suggestion to provide a message for users attempting to create a space that has the same key of a restricted one.
