Deleting a space with many pages takes more than 4 hours to finish

      Issue Summary

      • Deleting a space with many pages (more than 4.500) takes more than 4 hours to finish. This time grows exponentially with the number of pages in a space. A space with 7500+ pages may take more than a day to delete.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a Confluence space
      2. Add more than 4.500 pages on the space (they can be empty pages)
      3. Delete the space

      Expected Results

      • The space will be deleted in a few minutes since the pages don't have attachments or content.

      Actual Results

      • The delete takes more than 4 hours to finish

      Workaround

      • Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

            Comment [ Guys, do you have test for this? Asking, cause I cannot move space with a lot of drafts to trash. Will ask customer service to do it, but seems that deleting space is still not as smooth as possible.  ]
