Issue Summary
When you have the Content formatting macros, it provides the Button Hyperlink macro which allows buttons to be created and customized.
If this macro is added to a Legacy editor page, upon trying to edit and save the changes, the macro will keep spinning until it eventually times out:
Steps to Reproduce
- As an admin of Confluence, install the Content formatting macros
- Once the app is installed, create/edit a legacy editor page.
- Add the Button Hyperlink macro and edit it.
- Add some parameters and tap Save (or Insert for a new one).
Expected Results
The editing pop-up should disappear, displaying the macro on the page.
Actual Results
Although the saves are changed and a new macro is added in the background, the Edit pop-up will keep spinning.
Workaround
- Tap Cancel in the pop-up once the macro starts to spin since the changes are already saved.
- Convert the page to the new/current editor
