Issue Summary
If you create a Confluence page with the Jira Report Template. Then when selecting the Jira Project to use. If it takes longer than 10 seconds to load the Jira Projects, it'll time out.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a page
- Use the Jira Report template
- Select Status Report
- The Jira Project Dropdown will timeout if it takes longer than 10 seconds to load the Jira Projects.
Expected Results
It should load all of the Jira Projects.
Actual Results
The Jira Report Template fails to load the project list, with a timeout error after 10 seconds.
Workaround
- Go to + (create a new page)
- Select Jira Report (select this template)
- A dialog will open (This is where you're getting the timeout issue now)
- In the dialog where things timeout there is another option called Switch to Advanced. Click that.
- Insert a valid JQL (e.g.: project != empty) In this case, project="replace with your project name" works perfect for a specific project and the project != empty will return all projects
- Click Create
- The editor will show up. Publish the page.
- You should be able to see the issues now. You may see a link to click to authenticate. Clicking this will work as intended and returning to the page after will generate the desired issue list.
