Issue Summary

For devices on API 28 and older, viewing a page in dark mode does not render the page in dark mode. The page is rendered in light mode while every other component of the app (buttons, text, toolbar, etc.) is rendered in dark mode.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install the Confluence Android app on an Android device with API 28 or older.
2. Turn dark mode on.
3. View a page.

Expected Results

The page should be shown in dark mode.

Actual Results

The page is shown in light mode. Everything else on the screen (comments, toolbar, some buttons and text) is shown in dark mode.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
