Jira issue macro doesn't display data from custom fields created in Next-gen projects

Issue Summary

When adding the Jira issues macro to display information from a Next-gen project in a Confluence page, the data from the custom fields don't appear.

Steps to Reproduce

In Jira

1. Create a next-gen project in Jira.
2. Create a custom field to an issue type.
3. Create new issues using this issue type.
4. Populate the custom field.

In Confluence

1. Create a page.
2. Add the Jira issue macro to the page.
3. Select the issues you have just created in Jira.
4. Under display options, choose the custom field you created previously.

Expected Results

The data from the custom fields should be displayed in Confluence.

Actual Results

The column for the custom fields shows blank in Confluence.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
