Current Scenario

Users are unable to add inline comments on text within tables. This is a limitation on the new editor that prevents adding inline comments on macros (including tables), emojis, and mentions.

Users are unable to add inline comments as they see a greyed out box, and an error message, similar to this next screenshot:

Desired Scenario

As tables are an integral part of communicating clear messages to teams and users it would be great if we could have the inline comment functionality supported on the new editor, as it would provide users with the ability to add their thoughts onto text inside tables.
