      Issue Summary

      URLs defended using Proofpoint URL Defense software for email don't paste into Confluence Cloud pages properly

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Copy a URL that has been defended using the Proofpoint URL defense via Outlook email platform.
      2. Paste in to an Confluence page, Legacy or Fabric Editor.
      3. Note that the full URL is not pasted, dropping all content after instance of a double semicolon ";;"

      Expected Results

      Full URL should be pasted into Confluence page, essentially making the copy/paste process unaffected.

      Actual Results

      Proofpoint URLs that contain a double semicolon

      ;;

      drop after first semi-colon, breaking URL altogether.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
